But why would you use it every day?

But what’s the big difference between taking CBD every day and using it as needed?

CBD interacts with the body just like vitamins or certain medication, like birth control. You wouldn’t take your daily birth control pill at random times and days and expect it to work, right? Same with CBD–you get the most out of it by taking it everyday, consistently!
This is because CBD, like all cannabinoids, builds up in the body over time. A daily dose can help maintain sustained levels in your system and promote a more effective Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS is a biological system that has shown to help control sleep, mood, inflammation and overall homeostasis (a body’s state of balance). So it’s important to keep it in top condition!
Our bodies were built for short term burst of stress, like running for our lives from a tiger or trying to find shelter; not daily consistent stress–i.e. waking up exhausted, to stressful emails, sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic, dealing with noise pollution, and all the other daily stresses we experience. Experiencing stress our bodies don’t know the difference between that stressful email and running for our lives from a tiger.
When we get sick or feel stressed our bodies produce the FAAH enzyme, which then degrades our endocannabinoids, resulting in problems sleeping, increased anxiety, inflammation and a whole host of other things. When we use CBD daily not only are we augmenting with phytocannabinoids, we’re also enabling it to create its own endocannabinoids again; which results in a balanced endocannabinoid tone!
Depending on the delivery method and dose, the full effects of CBD may only remain in your system for 4-12 hours, so it’s important to be thoughtful and consistent with your CBD intake.
The goal is to maximize the strength and effectiveness of the body’s ECS. Consider your health goals to determine the best time of day to take your CBD–you may find it’s best to dose at night before bed, and again in the morning during breakfast.
